Mimosa Grill
to Host Domaine Serene Wine Dinner
Saturday, July 31 at 6:30pm

Charlotte, NC (July 14, 2010) -- Uptown's Mimosa Grill will host a special wine dinner on Saturday, July 31, featuring select wines of Domaine Serene. Executive Chef Jon Fortes will pair the wines with an innovative, five-course dinner for $75.00 per person. A reception at 6:30pm will kick-off the event, with dinner following at 7pm.

Domaine Serene Vineyards and Winery was founded by Ken and Grace Evanstad more than twenty years ago in the Dundee Hills of Oregon. The winery is best known for its excellence in Pinot Noir wines, but they also produce an outstanding Chardonnay and Syrah. Their wines have won numerous accolades and awards, including besting Domaine de la Romanee Conti in blind tastings, being called "The Chateau Lafite of Oregon" by Anthony Dias Blue, The Best Oregon Pinot Noir by the Wall Street Journal, and outstanding ( top rating) Oregon producer by Robert Parker.
