HARPER'S RESTAURANT GROUP Announces Closing of Uptown's ZINK AMERICAN KITCHEN
Charlotte-based Harper's Restaurant Group announced today the closing of its restaurant, Zink. American Kitchen, located in the IJL building, at 201 North Tryon Street. Open since 2004, the popular eatery is a favorite of Uptown professionals and is known for its twist on New American cuisine, its lively outdoor patio and late night ambience. The restaurant's last day of operation will be Saturday, July 31, 2010.

to Host Domaine Serene Wine Dinner

Uptown's Mimosa Grill will host a special wine dinner on Saturday, July 31, featuring select wines of Domaine Serene. Executive Chef Jon Fortes will pair the wines with an innovative, five-course dinner for $75.00 per person. A reception at 6:30pm will kick-off the event, with dinner following at 7pm. Read More


MIMOSA GRILL Introduces New Sunday Brunch Buffet
Starts Sunday, August 1 with introductory price of $17.00 per person
The tastiest Sunday service in Uptown Charlotte will be at MIMOSA GRILL when the restaurant starts serving a delicious, new SUNDAY BRUNCH BUFFET, 11am-3pm. The buffet will include a wide array of wood roasted specialties, breakfast items, traditional Mimosa favorites, desserts and much more. Guests will also be encouraged to order small plates ala carte straight from the kitchen. An introductory price of just $17.00 per person will be available through Sunday, August 29. Harper's Restaurant Group Mourns Loss of Minie Raynes
Company establishes memorial fund to benefit children

Chef Minie Raynes, a 19-year employee of Harper's Restaurant Group, lost her life last week in a tragic automobile accident. At the time of her death, she was working at the Southpark Harper's Restaurant, but Minie was also well-known to many Uptown restaurant guests where she served as chef for both Blue Ribbon BBQ and Harper's Grill.
